Ben Mary, İtalyadan geliyorum, yirmi iki yasındayım. Çay severim!

This is some of the words I have learned during my sport volunteer experience for one month here in Sorgun, I wish I had more time to learn better Turkish!

During my first experience outside Europe I did many activities involving sports and young people. We took English and Italian courses in which we practiced the grammar and discussed on different topics with the aim of improving self empowerment.

In the afternoon we usually did sports activities such as Volleyball, Badminton, Bocce and Football that helped building the team and enjoying time together in a healthy way. 

We also had the chance to learn a new culture, very different from our's, sharing traditional dances, dishes and way of living.

I want to thank especially Turkish volunteers, they were amazing, they did their best, with patience and a big smile and laugh, even when things were a little bit stressful. :)
